Personal Growth Coach + Consultant

Life coaching tailored to help you manage stress, balance work and relationships, and navigate responsibilities without adding pressure to your schedule.

What Does A Coach Do?

Helps you understand what's keeping you stuck and supports you to create meaningful, lasting change. Through conversation, reflection and accountability, you build clarity, healthier patterns and realistic next steps you can actually follow through with.

What Does A Consultant Do?

Helps you solve problems, make decisions and create clear, practical plans. You bring the situation, and the consultant provides structure, direction and expert guidance to help you move forward with confidence.

What If I Can't Decide Which One I Need?

If you're unsure whether coaching or consulting is right for you, the Discovery Session is the best place to start. We'll talk through your situation and determine the type of support that will genuinely help you move forward.

Hi, I'm Jacob Jollymore

A Personal Growth Coach and Consultant who supports overworked, stressed and time-poor people who feel stretched thin because I’ve lived that reality myself.

With a background in community services and case management, I spent years working in high-pressure environments supporting adults experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. It was meaningful work, but it required constant emotional presence, fast decision-making and unrealistic workloads. Over time, my nervous system stayed in survival mode and burnout quickly took hold.

I wasn’t really time-poor. Time just feels different when you’re living in chronic stress.

What I’d learned as vicarious trauma during my training became something I was experiencing firsthand. Stepping away, seeking support and reclaiming my time and energy changed everything. I knew I still wanted to help people,

but in a way that supported sustainable change. That’s what led me to life coaching.

Today, I bring together my qualifications in:

  • Community Services (Case Management)
  • Youth Work
  • Life Coaching

With over five years experience in case management and consulting, my coaching approach is practical, trauma-aware and grounded in real life designed to help you regain balance, reduce overwhelm and grow without adding pressure.

I provide a judgement-free, safe space every session whether it on Zoom or in-person meetings (Port Macquarie, NSW only).

This Is How I Can Support You

Through our sessions, working collaboratively we can:

  • Create clarity around what actually matters to you
  • Set boundaries without guilt or over-explaining
  • Stop over-committing and people-pleasing
  • Make decisions you don’t later resent
  • Reclaim time and energy for yourself
  • Build sustainable habits that fit into real life

This is personal growth designed to slot into your existing life, not take it over.

Why So Many High-Functioning People Feel Burnt Out

Their days are packed. Their minds are busy. Their energy is scattered. And meaningful time for themselves or the people and things they love keeps getting postponed. Personal growth starts to feel like another thing to keep up with… so it gets avoided altogether.

Coaching That Feels Supportive, Not Overwhelming

If you’re already exhausted, the idea of “self-improvement” can feel heavy. You won’t be given long to-do lists, rigid routines, or unrealistic demands. Instead, coaching helps you slow down, reassess and move forward in a way that feels manageable and aligned.

Why Coaching Works for Busy, Over-Committed People

When you’re constantly giving, it’s hard to think clearly. A life coach becomes a calm, neutral support. Someone outside your daily life. Coaching creates space mentally, emotionally, and practically so you can breathe again.

You Don’t Need More Time. You Need Better Support.

You need support that meets you where you are. Coaching helps you regain balance, clarity and direction in a way that respects your energy, your values and your very real time constraints.

How To Get The Most Out of This

01

Get in the zone

Motivation often follows mood. Find the music, hobbies or rituals that shift your energy and help you drop into focus before you begin.

02

Start small

Overwhelm is a motivation killer. Break goals down until the next step feels manageable. Momentum builds from there.

03

Reconnect with your reason

When motivation dips, revisit why this matters to you. Not the idealised version, but the honest one that keeps you showing up.

04

Create consistency

Routine beats motivation every time. Simple, repeatable habits make progress feel more natural and less forced.

05

Track progress

Notice what’s working and how far you’ve come. Progress fuels motivation far more effectively than self-criticism.

06

Work within your energy

Schedule demanding tasks when your energy is highest and lighter tasks when it’s lower. Motivation improves when your expectations are realistic.

07

Adjust your environment

Sometimes motivation isn’t about mindset, it’s about surroundings. A clear space, fewer distractions, or a change of scenery can make all the difference.

08

Take action

Waiting for motivation often leads to stagnation. Action creates clarity, confidence, and momentum.

09

Acknowledge your efforts as well as outcomes

Motivation grows when effort is recognised. Celebrate showing up, not just the end result.

10

Allow time for rest without guilt

Motivation ebbs and flows. Rest isn’t failure, it’s part of sustaining progress long-term.

Live each day with confidence by creating a life that aligns with your authentic self.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Would Work For Me? Coaching or Consulting?

In coaching, you stay in the driver’s seat.
My role is to ask the right questions, reflect patterns, challenge assumptions and support you in identifying your own next steps in a way that actually fits your life.

While in consulting, I take the lead.
You’re coming to me for clarity, structure and informed direction and I bring my experience in case management, planning, and behaviour change to help you move forward efficiently.

When in doubt, choose our Discovery Session. This way we can talk over your current situation, what you want to work towards and what role you would like to play in your journey.

How Is Coaching Different From Therapy or Counselling?

Life coaching focuses on the present and future rather than processing the past. While therapy often works through mental health concerns or trauma, life coaching is action-oriented and practical. Coaching supports you to gain clarity, make aligned decisions and create sustainable change in your day-to-day life. If deeper therapeutic support is needed, I’m always supportive of clients accessing that alongside coaching.

How Often Do We Meet And How Long Are Sessions?

Most clients choose fortnightly sessions, as this allows enough space for reflection and integration without feeling overwhelming. Sessions typically run for 60 minutes and are designed to fit into real, busy schedules. We’ll always find a rhythm that feels supportive rather than demanding. Sessions are available after 5pm on Weekdays and 10am on Weekends (New South Wales time)

What If I Don’t Know What My Goals Are Yet?

That’s completely okay and very common. Many clients come to coaching feeling unclear, stuck, or disconnected from what they want. A large part of life coaching is creating space to slow down, explore what matters to you, and gain clarity before any big decisions or action steps are made.

Do I Need to Be “Burnt Out” to Work With a Life Coach?

Not at all. You don’t need to hit breaking point to benefit from life coaching. Many people choose coaching when they feel stretched thin, over-committed, or disconnected from themselves and want to make changes before burnout takes hold. Coaching is as much about prevention and balance as it is about recovery.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect From Life Coaching?

Results look different for everyone, but many clients experience reduced stress, clearer boundaries, improved decision-making and a stronger sense of balance. Over time, coaching can help you feel more present, confident and aligned without needing to overhaul your entire life. Progress is gentle, intentional and sustainable.
